A date with Mommy!

 

Gracie got tickets to go see Disney Classics on Ice for her birthday. So we made it a special Mommy date. Since Abbie was born we hadn't got to spend any one on one time together and this was a real treat! We got all dressed up and went to the mall first. We had to shop at Gracie's new favorite store, Justice. Then she chose to eat at Chick-Fil-A for lunch and then we went to the craft show and waited on the civic center to open. We were the first in line to get in and the look on your face was priceless. It really was a beautiful show, I even enjoyed myself! I really enjoyed my time with Gracie, she's growing up way too fast!

Gracie's Birthday!!!!

We celebrated Gracie's 5th birthday on November 21, 2010 at the bowling alley. We always celebrate the weekend after Thanksgiving but this year we decided to do it the weekend before. She'd never been bowling before so she was pretty excited. She had a few friends and cousins at her Tinkerbell themed party! Abbie enjoyed bowling as much or more then her sister!!!

Halloween 2010

Every Halloween we celebrate the Williams. This Halloween we went to church to the Trunk or Treat, Gracie and Skyler were Mr. and Mrs. Spiderman and Abbie was a little chicken!

 Then on Halloween night we went with them Trick or Treating.

 We always love spending time with the Williams!

 Gracie had a little fall right before Halloween and broke her nose and her left arm. This is her face the morning after her fall.

Happy Birthday Abbie!

It amazes me how fast this past year has gone by! It feels as though only yesterday you were still inside my tummy. The day you were born was one of the best days of my life. I was so excited yet so scared. I was so excited to be giving Gracie a little sister, yet I was so scared that I couldn't love another child like I did your sister. The moment I heard you cry and saw your little wrinkled body and head full of hair, it was love at first sight. My heart is so full of love for you and your sister. You made our family complete, I remember saying that as soon as you were born, that I had this instant feeling of contentment.

-From the very beginning you had a great set of lungs! You always know what you want and you want it right then!

-You love to eat, as a matter of fact you've been that way since the beginning. We have to watch you though cause you eat anything and everything!!!

-Your favorite food is pasta and cheese and you love peas and carrots. Your favorite snack is goldfish and Gerber fruit strips! You enjoy any kind of food! You finally will drink regular milk and you still take a bottle at night and sometimes when you are really grumpy and I have to work I send it with you!

-You love to snuggle and be held. I would hold you all the time if i could, cause I know one day you will grown and you won't let me hold you anymore.

-You love DUCKS! Everything is a duck. You light up each time you see a duck and say "DUCK!!!" Your first party was duck theme.

-You hate to get dirty and sweaty! You like outside as long as it isn't too hot and you stay clean!

-You love playing babies. You rock your babies and pat them and even bring them to us to hold and love on.

-You are not a very good sleeper. You fight your sleep at naps and bedtime. You like to be right next to your daddy when your sleeping.

-You are a Daddy's girl. You ask for your daddy daily, if he isn't around. He is your choice over me on any day. Actually you love men rather then women in general. You prefer Jamie over Meme, you love your papas', and sometimes even go up to complete strangers. The only way I can get you to stay in nursery at church is if I hand you off to a man.

-You love your sister! You try to be like her and copy her ALL the time. She has grown to love you too!

-You are scared of Yo Gabba Gabba! You 'll watch it as long as some one will hold you or if Gracie will sit beside you but if you hear DJ Lance voice come on you start screaming!

-At your 1 year check up you were almost 20 lbs and were 32 in tall!
-You recently spent the night away from us for the first time and you did great, Gracie on the other hand cried!! I thought I would be the one with tears but she was worried you'd still need me!
-You haven't been very sick, other then when your sister gave you the flu! Two kids with flu wasn't fun for me or daddy!!!

  I love you Abbie and this last year as been great watching you grow into a little person with a great big personality!

Sisters

The day I learned that I was having my first little girl, I prayed for her but mostly I prayed that she would have a sister. Sisters are so special, they are like a permanent best friend, one that truly knows how you feel and where you come from. When I first held Gracie, I prayed that one day she would have a best friend and a little sister like I do! When I got pregnant again, deep in side I prayed for a girl for Gracie. Someone to tell secrets to, to play dolls and dress up with, someone she could go through life knowing no matter how mean or cruel the world was to her, she would always have her sister there. On July 8, 2009 God gave Gracie a sister, Abbie Lynn. In the past 10 months I have watched as Abbie has grown and they have grown to love each other and truly are the best of friends!
